exit slip lesson 3 11.4
the way you compare and contrast 2 functions is by changing the signs fist. then you compare the highest degree term, next degree term, and the constant term. for ex: my first function was 4*A2^8+3*A2^6 and its highest degree term is 4x^{8} and when it was negative it was -4x^{8}. the next degree were both the same 0. the constant degree for both were 3x^{8}. thats how you compare and contrast 2 functions.

"changing the sign" was just so that you could have another function to compare. But that wasn't "the way" to compare.
